Chiswick. London. England. Earth. The Solar System. In other words, home. Or at least, home away from the TARDIS. Donna stepped out of the TARDIS - just the other side of the street from her house, not bad, not bad at all. Dusk, good, good. And most importantly - no car in the driveway! Perfect!

"All clear, so far." Donna called back into the TARDIS, before heading across the street to her house. She found the spare key from under the plant pot and let herself inside.

Percy tugged on Adam's hand, while carefully carrying a cardboard box with Adi in with his free hand. Sylvia would have a fit if a guinea pig ran freely over her dining room table, even if said guinea pig was actually a blob of fat.

"Well, doesn't mean you should flaunt yourself. Now, we'll be sensible and not mess around in the time line," this coming from the Doctor, who basically lived to meddle around in time. He was not exactly a careful man but he didn't like the idea of taking Donna somewhere to hook up.

It was a little bit creepy. They all definitely agreed.

"Well, I'm not going to throw myself at him, but if, and I know, it's a big if, but if he offered then I'm hardly likely to say no, am I? Women don't just say no to Casanova. They swoon and drop their knickers."

Besides, Donna is a woman. A human woman with certain needs. Certain needs that are currently unfulfilled.

"Can we not talk about this?" Adam whined with a small pout. Rolling his eyes, the Doctor nodded his head. Sex talk at the table? Never wise. "Let's talk about something family friendly and not to do with sex."

Percy beeped, just to be part of the conversation and printed of a picture of a cricket bat, ice-cream and an elephant. Which, thanks to his cloaking device, simply came out of his clothing when he tugged them free. "Percy, try not to print in public."

Aw, no fair. Donna wanted to swoon over Casanova and talk about how gorgeous she thinks he'll be and all the possible fun that could be had with him. "Okay, okay, fine. No more talking about Casanova's effect on my knickers."

"Dear God yes," Adam remarked as he rubbed at his eyes. That was technically his mother as well! "Lets discuss what we'll do here, alright? Well, obviously we're going to leave before Donna's mom comes but do we have anywhere to go or anything to do?"

It's not Donna's fault that Adam's father is as sexual as a twig. And she has urges. Sob. Such a hard life she leads. "We could always hit the 24 hour Tesco and pick up some food while we're here," she suggested, nibbling on her cake.

Both identical men just stared. "Tescos? We came here from beasts in the snow to shop at tescos?"

Adam blinked slowly before shrugging. "Well, at least we can get some more tea and a few biscuits."

"Exactly. Tea, biscuits, chocolate, bananas, shampoo, you know the things we need to live. I'll even pick up the ingredients to make that banana cake you like so much if you're good."

Donna ruffled the Doctor's hair, giving a soft chuckle. Percy leaned over and mimicked Donna by doing the same to Adam.

Adam laughed and ruffled Percy's tiny little hair as well, giving Donna an amused look. "Do we have to walk or do you have a car? I've never driven before. Oh! Can I drive?"

"No!" the Doctor answered for her, getting to his feet. "We'll walk. Walking is much safer, therefore much wiser."

"Mum has the car." Plus, the idea of Adam driving scared the daylights out of Donna. It was bad enough being in a vintage car with the Doctor behind the wheel on a deserted strip of road. Adam in a car on a busy road would be like an accident waiting to happen.

"Besides, the walk will do you good. Burn off some of those biscuits," she teased, helping Percy off his chair and to his feet.

Considering Adam and the Doctor were both twigs, they didn't have to worry much about burning calories. But they happy tracked after Donna. though eventually Adam had to pick up Percy when he started whining. "Walking is boring."

"But safer," the Doctor countered once more.

Skinny streaks of nothing. That's what they were. It wasn't fair at all. Donna just had to look at a chocolate bar and it went straight to her hips. Those skinny boys could get away with eating anything!

Donna carried Adi's box in one hand while taking hold of the Doctor's hand with her free one. "Much safer. Besides, you don't have a license or insurance and I don't much fancy getting stuck in prison."

Percy squealed in delight at being carried and wrapped his arms around his big brother's neck, smushing a kiss to his cheek.

"Oh eww, he slobbered on me," Adam whined as Percy giggled and essentially clung to his big brother. Oh he really didn't like being big brother sometimes but if it kept Percy happy, so be it.

The Doctor simply smiled and gripped Donna's hand, nodding along in agreement. Percy could keep Adam occupied, walking was much better.

Walking was much, much better. Walking was nice. Far better than driving or running. Just lovely. Especially since Donna was developing a keen skill of blocking out the whining. It was a useful skill!

"Any food in particular you want us to buy, Adam?" Adi squeaked from inside his box. "Don't worry, Adi. We haven't forgotten you either, we'll make sure we buy something for you."
